Beggars return to Calabar streets

Mudiaga Affe DESTITUTES and beggars have returned to the streets of Calabar, the Cross River State capital. Our correspondent, who went round the metropolis on Friday, observed that the number of destitute children in Calabar had again increased. The state Governor, Prof. Ben Ayade, had shortly after assuming office, constituted a security team code-named ‘Operation
