'Kobe Bryant day' NBA legend Kobe Bryant honored with his own day by Los Angeles mayor (photos)

Basket ball legend Kobe Bryant who spent his whole playing career at Los Angeles Lakers before retiring in April 2016 was on Wednesday honoured with his own day 'Kobe Bryant day' & presented with a plaque by the Mayor of Los Angeles  Eric Garcetti.


 
The  date, 24/08 was a combination of the two jerseys he wore during his  career with the Los Angeles Lakers, 8 and 24 and after he was presented  with a plaque to mark the day, he was wished a happy birthday by a swarm  of politicians as he turned 38 on Monday.
