6 DROWN IN BENUE AS BOAT CAPSIZES

No fewer than six persons drowned in River Benue following a boat mishap in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State last Thursday. The unfortunate incident occurred when an overloaded boat crossing River Benue with mourners capsized. The boat was reportedly ferrying more than 18 persons without any life jacket.
