The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Customs Service, Hameed Ali, has said that he was not appointed Comptroller General of Customs to wear uniform. He spoke in response to next week summons after the Senate ordered him to appear in “appropriate” uniform next week over the service’s planned action against owners of vehicles without duty payment.
