A 55-year-old woman who killed her mother by giving her
 an overdose of drugs and smothering her with a pillow has been found
guilty of causing her death.



Shirley D'Silva of Morland Road, Croydon pleaded guilty at
the Old Bailey on Monday, 17 July to manslaughter on the grounds of
diminished responsibility. She will be sentenced at the same court on
Tuesday, 18 July.
