Nike to bring CR7 to ManUtd for 75M - Madrid Director says CR7 going no where

Manchester United have met with officials from sports manufacturer Nike to plot Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to the club from Real Madrid. The Portuguese winger has a boot deal with Nike, but wears the Adidas-sponsored Real Madrid kit week-in, week-out in Spain.

And, the report claims Nike believe their global brand would be even stronger if Ronaldo played for a team sponsored by the famous swoosh.

A deal wouldn’t be cheap though, with Manchester United needing to spend in the region of €75million to bring the player back to the Premier League, plus a player like Nani to sweeten the deal, the paper claims.

Real Madrid legend and director Emilio Butragueno believes Manchester United or any other club will have trouble trying to lure Cristiano Ronaldo away from the Bernabeu in the summer.

Some reports have suggested Ronaldo could leave Real Madrid in the summer after a tumultuous season which has seen the Portuguese super tart admit he was 'sad' in Spain.

Ronaldo also set tongues wagging by suggesting he will see out the last two years of his contract at Madrid before considering his next move.

Despite maintaining his outstanding form throughout the season - he has 38 goals already - some suggest Ronaldo could be on his way back to Manchester United having left the club in 2009.
