UNIZIK researchers design software for electronic health record, integrated with drug information system

Indeed, the good old saying that a healthy nation is a wealthy nation cannot be gainsaid. For us in Nigeria, it means that every effort being made by Nigerians to build a wealthy nation will be efforts in futility if they fail to get the health system right. One of the major issues in our health care system is in the area of medical records viz: patient's medical history, drugs and reactions etc. In many hospitals, patient records are still done manually in this digital age, and most times, flawed with grave consequences sometimes.
