The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has raised an alarm over the kidnap of its South-east Vice Chairman, Chudi Nwike, whose abductors have demand the sum of N30million ‘in foreign currency’ for his release.

Mr Nwike was said to have being abducted in Anambra State on Tuesday.

ACN in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, claimed Mr Nwike’s younger brother, who has established contact with the kidnapper was given the ransom.
”We appeal to the security agencies to do everything within their power to ensure the safe release of Dr. Nwike” the party stated in its statement while it assured his family of its prayers and support at “this very difficult time.”
