Oluwole Awolowo, the second son of late Yoruba sage Chief Obafemi Awolowo is dead. He died today after a brief illness accordding to his sister, Tokunbo Awolowo.

It was confirmed that Mr. oluwole died in London hospital where he had been receiving treatment. Until his death Mr. Awolowo was the publisher of the Tribune newspapers.
