Kim Kardashian denies 'D Nigeria Ape Tweet "I would never say a thing like that"

After an online prankster publicized an offensive tweet that seemed like it was written by Kim Kardashian, the reality star set the record straight. The pregnant socialite posted messages from her Twitter account assuring her followers that she did write the racist tweet about Nigeria.

The fake tweet stated, "Nigeria is such a disgusting country. I couldn't wait to leave. lol Scott said their women look like apes and I agree."

In response, the mom-to-be tweeted, "I see there's a photo shopped tweet floating around, supposedly I said something about Nigeria. That was NOT me, or my feelings," she wrote on Wednesday morning.



Kim K. went on to add, "That fake tweet is very disturbing & I would NEVER EVER tweet something like that."

An Internet prankster has claimed responsibility for the stunt.
