Baby Delivered by 12-year old stolen in Cross River

The Police in Akpabuyo, Cross Rivers State are investigating the circumstances that led to the disappearance of a baby delivered by a 12 years old girl, Mary Mmakanba Eyo.

In this regard, the police have taken the baby-mama into custody alongside two nurses, Amalandi Isaac and Lilian Alloysuos for allegedly stealing the newborn baby and attending to Mary without the consent of her parents.

Justina Eyo, elder sister to Mmakamba who reported the matter to the Police said the girl got pregnant in 2012 but went missing for two months and only to resurface last week without either the pregnancy or the baby.

According to Justina, the family searched for Mary everywhere but could not locate her whereabouts until last week when she suddenly resurfaced.
