Tech: If you own an iPhone 6 or later that isn't holding its charge, now is the time to get your battery replaced

Last year, Apple acknowledged something that iPhone owners had suspected for some time: that it had been quietly 'throttling' the performance of older iPhones. So Apple offered customers an out-of-warranty battery replacement for iPhone 6 or later that would cost just $29 before December 31, 2018.
