Sixty-seven-year-old Matthew Ochini and his wife, Josephine (63), were yesterday paraded by men of the 4 Brigade of the Nigerian Army for allegedly dealing in substances suspected to be Indian hemp.

Reports said they were arrested along the Benin-Lagos Expressway, following a raid by the soldiers on the Uselu Motor Park. Five bags of suspected Indian hemp were allegedly found on them.

Commander of the 4 Brigade, Brigadier General PAT Akem, who spoke through the Brigade’s Public Relations Officer, Captain Roseline Managbe, said the couple confessed to have been in the sale of hard drugs “for quite some time.”
