Nigerian woman with AIDS deported from Cairo Airport

A NIGERIAN woman, who was suspected to have the dreaded Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), was yesterday deported from Cairo International Airport by Eyptian aviation authorities.

The woman, whose identity was not disclosed, arrived from Nairobi aboard a Kenyan airline.

She was deported by security operatives after conducting a search on a doll she had in her possession and found medication stashed inside.

When asked about it, the passenger was reported to have said the medication was for the treatment of AIDS.

The passenger, who did not object to the decision to deport her, returned to Nairobi on the same plane.
