Asari Dokubo is back again! The militant leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force has vowed to deal with Governor Rotimi Amaechi decisively if, for any reason, Amaechi's ambition makes it impossible for President Goodluck Jonathan to be re-elected president in 2015.

    "President Goodluck Jonathan will win in 2015. If they do not allow him to win, they will not be able to handle the consequences," Asari threatened.

The PDP in Rivers State, working with anti-Amaechi agents, have already declared that Amaechi is not the Chairman of Nigerian Governors' Forum. They said Jonah Jang of Plateau State is the Chairman.

On his part Asari, in a phone-in radio programme in Port Harcourt on Saturday, said Amaechi’s political ambition did not tally with the ambition of the people of Niger Delta. As such, he said the governor would be
“treated like a traitor” for standing against Jonathan ahead of 2015.
