[BREAKING NEWS] - BRT Bus (Almost) Falling Off Iponri Bridge - SURULERE

This is the early morning sight that greeted Iponri residents and Office bound people as they move this early Wednesday morning.

According to eye witnesses, the accident occurred as a result of the BRT driver running through the dangerous gap located in the Bridge. The gap has been there all along separating the bridge into 2. The BRT was racing along and the flour mill truck was also racing behind.

The BRT bus is said to have lost wheel control when it shifted its hand towards the bridge cliff and almost falling off, The Flour Mill truck couldnt brake on time so had to hit the BRT from behind helping the falling off scenario.

But no life was lost, as the BRT was said to be empty at the time of the accident and the Flour Mill truck only had a minor hit on the BRT.

LastMA officials and nearby FRSC officials are already on site and evacuation is already in progress at the time of this report.
