PDP's Lost Glory - Lets fight for it in 2014/2015 Polls - Bode George

Former Deputy National Chairman, South-West of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George, on Tuesday in Lagos, charged the leadership and elders of the party across the zone to ensure that PDP wins the 2014 governorship elections in Osun and Ekiti states.

The charge came as party bigwigs met at his Ikoyi residence to deliberate on the way forward for the PDP.

The theme of his speech is: Yoruba People: Time for Action.

George also tasked the bigwigs to ensure that PDP wins  all elective positions in the zone in the 2015 general election.

He reiterated that the party must work hard to regain its glory by winning all the seats in the region,  including Lagos State.

“We have no excuse to lose in any position again in the South-West. We must all go back to our wards, local governments and senatorial districts to rejuvenate our party structures to ensure victory for the PDP both in Osun and Ekiti and for President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015,” he said.

George expressed joy at the level of success recorded in ongoing reconciliation move in the zone, pointing out that the intra party disagreements were responsble for its defeat in previous elections.
