President Trump finally commits to Orderly Transition of Power on Jan. 20

President Trump issued a statement early Thursday committing to an orderly transition of power to President-elect Joe Biden on Jan. 20.

The statement came after Congress completed its count of the electoral votes following hours of debate and challenges, delayed by rioting by Trump supporters at the Capitol Wednesday afternoon.

"While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again!” he said in a statement released by the White House. He said he continued to "totally disagree with the outcome of the election."
