Chelsea are close to completing a deal for Portuguese sensation Bruma after the player’s agent admitted the transfer saga is reaching a conclusion.

Metro reports that the 18-year-old, who has been earning rave reviews at the U20 World Cup this summer, will cost the Blues £17million, with Jose Mourinho having to pay £10million up front for the player.

Bruma, who has previously been compared to Cristiano Ronaldo, has been involved in a ‘tug-of-war’ between Chelsea and Sporting Lisbon, according to the agent, and will be happy to have the situation resolved.

“It is not a pleasant situation for a young man to be in when there is a tug-of-war,” said Catio Balde.

“But I think the coming days there will be news. We are all committed to trying to resolve the situation so everybody is happy.”

Sporting have previously stood firm over the wing wizard, rejecting an opening offer from the Blues in an effort to keep the player at the Estadio Jose Alvalade.
