Ironsi, Gowon, Obasanjo stripped us of constitutional roles -Monarchs -NigPilot

National Council of Traditional Rulers chaired by the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa'ad Abubakar and co-chaired by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has blamed the military administrations led by Generals Johnson Aguyi-Ironsi, Yakubu Gowon and Olusegun Obasanjo between 1966 and 1979 of making traditional rulers redundant at all levels of governance in the country.
