A test-run of the  Murtala Mohammed Airport (MMA) new power project is scheduled to begin this morning from the "D" wing of the international terminal.

The exercise will be subsequently carried out at the domestic terminal on Wednesday and other areas of the airport on Thursday and Friday.

Mr. Yakubu Dati, general manager, Corporate Communications, Aviation Parastatals, said that during the course of the test-run, the affected areas would experience intermittent power supply.

In all, a total of 7 nos. 4,850 KVA stand-by generators would be tested.

FAAN regrets any inconvenience that may be experienced by passengers and other airport users as a result of this experience which is aimed at  improving power supply in the airport.
