Bale wants to speak with Madrid - Pleat says Bale is too Young to Move

 Gareth Bale is "too young" to move abroad and would be making a mistake by leaving Tottenham for Real Madrid this summer, according to David Pleat.

Bale, 24, has indicated he wants to speak to the Spanish giants.  But former Tottenham manager Pleat, who feels it would take a fee of £100m to even tempt them to sell the forward, told BBC Sport: "I think he's a little bit young to go abroad.

"I doubt he'd find it easy. Many have failed when they have moved overseas."

 Tottenham's Gareth Bale has indicated that he wants to speak to Real Madrid, but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is adamant the Welshman will not be sold.

Real have yet to submit a written offer, while Spurs are determined to keep the 24-year-old, even if they receive a world record bid of £85m.

Tottenham are hopeful of persuading Bale to fulfil one year of the three remaining on his current contract.

Bale joined Spurs from Southampton for £10m in 2007.
