2 Brothers Burnt To Death By Generator Fire

Tragedy struck in the family of Engineer HusseiniMohmud, an engineer with the Niger state ministry of works and Infrastructural development as two of his sons, Musa (19) and Abdullahi (15) died while trying to refill a generator.

The two brothers were killed by fire that broke out of the generator set at the back yard of their house located at Bosso, a sub of Minna Niger State capital.

It was gathered that the incident occurred when it started raining and the deceased did not die immediately but were rushed to the IBB Specialist Hospital Minna with high degree of burns from which they died.

It was gathered that Musa was an SS 2 student of a private school in Minna while Abdullahi was a JSS 2 student of the same private school.

The Niger state Commissioner for Information, Communication and Integration, Professor Mohammed KutaYahaya an uncle to the deceased described the loss as sad and unfortunate.

According to him during a condolence visit, yesterday, it was sad that the boys who were full of life and energy died in the process of refueling a generator.
