Arsenal are celebrating the 20-year anniversary of their Invincibles triumph and one clip has gone viral on social media because of Harry Kane.

The Gunners famously went the whole of the 2003/04 season unbeaten in the league, winning the title by an 11-point margin.

They sealed the crown in a 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane on April 25 and celebrated on the pitch, scenes that have not been forgotten about two decades on.

Their first home game back at Highbury was on May 1 against Birmingham, which ended as a 0-0 draw.

It was a real party atmosphere at the famous old ground, with their minds now focusing on another milestone… remaining unbeaten.

And 20 years on from that match, a clip has resurfaced on social media of the Arsenal players celebrating after that game.

That is because fans believe they spotted a young Kane celebrating in the crowd. He was part of the club’s academy at the time and would likely have had easier access to tickets for games.

There are further pictures of him during their title celebrations that further suggest that it may have been him in the Highbury crowd.

The Gunners would go on to regret releasing the young striker at the age of nine, who went on to become a Tottenham legend and haunt them in many north London derbies in the years to come.

Kane, however, has insisted that he was always a fan of Spurs and even wanted to wear his Tottenham kit to training.

Kane was on Arsenal’s books as a boy but has always been Spurs through and through

In 2015, he told Spurs TV: “I wanted to wear a Tottenham kit but I don’t think that would’ve gone down too well.

“I was eight years old. I was at Arsenal for a year and obviously I was a kid, I just wanted to play football.

“I’ve been at Spurs since I was 11 years-old, always loved the club.”

The Arsenal academy manager at the time who released Kane, Roy Massey, told talkSPORT in 2023 that he didn’t think the striker was good enough to make it as a professional.

“To release Harry Kane…we don’t have a crystal ball,” he pointed out to talkSPORT.

“If we did then we would be successful in every youngster than we take on.

“Harry was a lovely young player. He was quiet, shy, didn’t have what we thought it would take to become a professional footballer and so we were totally mistaken.”

Kane scored 280 goals for Spurs, a record haul for the club, before leaving for Bayern Munich last summer. Despite moving to another country, he continues to haunt Arsenal.

He helped them dump the Gunners out of the Champions League and has 43 goals in 43 games at the Bundesliga giants.
