Cristiano Ronaldo was left gutted after watching Al Nassr suffer a Saudi Pro League title blow with a late 4-4 draw to Al Hazm.

Ronaldo could only watch from the stands as Paulo Ricardo scored a dramatic equaliser in the NINTH minute of stoppage time to snap the club’s winning streak.

Ronaldo saluted fans chanting his name early in the match but was gutted at full time

The Portugal captain was serving a one-match ban for making a crotch-grabbing gesture during their 3-2 victory against Al Shabab last Sunday.

The 39-year-old was jeered with Lionel Messi chants throughout the match and was banned for responding with the obscene celebration.

Ronaldo’s suspension meant he was confined to the stands on Thursday for Al Nassr’s game against bottom-of-the-league Al Hazm.

The forward was serenaded by the home crowd during the seventh minute as a nod to his iconic shirt number.

Yet it initially seemed as if Ronaldo’s Al Nassr’s teammates didn’t miss him against the lowly Saudi side having gone ahead on four separate occasions.

Anderson Talisca netted a hat-trick, but mistakes at the back meant the two teams entered added-time level with three-a-piece.

In Ronaldo’s absence, former Liverpool star Sadio Mane seemingly gave Al Nassr the win from in typical CR7-esque fashion from the penalty spot after converting four minutes into stoppage time.

However, more shambolic defending from corner five minutes later saw Ricardo slam home a loose ball from close range.

Ronaldo, who had wildly celebrated Mane’s penalty just minutes earlier, was then captured slumped in his seat.

The former Manchester United star was pictured with his head in his hands as Al Nassr failed to close the gap to Al-Hilal at the top.

The draw proved to be the club’s first failure to secure victory in five games in all competitions since defeat to Aleksandar Mitrovic and co.

Ronaldo’s wait for a Saudi Pro League title looks to extend into his second season in the Middle East.

Al Nassr are now six points behind Neymar‘s Al Hilal, who have the opportunity to extend the gap when they face Al Ittihad tomorrow.

Ronaldo will be itching to get back on the field as Al Nassr will look to bounce back in the AFC Champions League quarter-finals on Monday.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has scored 28 goals in 29 appearances for the Saudi Arabian side across all competitions this term.
