The England defender’s middle name is ‘tough’, meaning that her full name is Lucia Roberta Tough Bronze.

England fans who tuned into the BBC’s coverage of the World Cup semi final clash with Australia were told the tidbit of information, leading many to take to the internet to find out if it was a legitimate fact.
So after typing her name into Google, supporters were in disbelief to find out that the 31-year-old’s middle name was actually Tough.
Taking to social media, one fan said: “Commentator when Lucy Bronze was described as tough, said, ‘It’s literally her middle name,’ and I was going to get annoyed but, no, I checked and fair play.”
Another said: “Don’t run at Lucy Bronze. Her middle name is ‘Tough.’ She WANTS YOU to run at her so she can bounce you into next week.”
A third fan said: “Lucy Bronze, tough by name tough by nature,” while another simply said: “I was going to get annoyed but, no, I checked and fair play.”
