And he can add yet another trophy to his impressive haul when City face bitter rivals Manchester United at Wembley in the FA Cup final, live on talkSPORT.

How many trophies has Guardiola won?

Well, after picking up the 2023/24 Premier League trophy, Guardiola has now won a staggering 34 trophies.

Given he only became a manager just over 16 years ago, it’s an even more impressive haul of honours.

The former Barcelona player became the club’s first-team manager in 2008 and picked up three LaLiga titles.

In that time, he also won the Champions League twice, including a 3-1 win over Sir Alex Ferguson‘s Manchester United at Wembley in 2011.

Guardiola also created one of the greatest club sides we have ever seen with Lionel Messi, Xavi, Andreas Iniesta and Sergio Busquets, among others.

Eventually, he decided to leave the club and take a break from management in 2012.

However, he wasn’t out of a job long before Bayern Munich came calling in 2013.

Guardiola established a stunning legacy at the Nou Camp

The Spaniard remained in Bavaria for three years, winning the Bundesliga title every season.

He also picked up two DFB Pokal trophies and the Club World Cup, but the Champions League evaded him.

And in his final season, it was announced that Guardiola would be leaving Bayern and joining Manchester City, and the rest is history.

Guardiola’s first season as City boss was a bit disappointing as the Citizens were nowhere close to being in the title race.

But the following year, they stormed to the title with over 100 points.

That was the first of six Premier League trophies Guardiola has won.

His dominance of the top-flight has been incredible and has denied Liverpool and now Arsenal the title.

The League Cup and FA Cup have also been easy for Guardiola to win.

Guardiola’s trophy haul

Barcelona (2008-2012): La Liga x3, Copa del Rey x2, Champions League x2, Super Cup x2, Club World Cup x2, Supercopa de Espana x3

Bayern Munich (2013-2016): Bundesliga x3, DFB-Pokal x2, Super Cup, Club World Cup

Man City (2016-present): Premier League x6, Champions League, FA Cup X2, EFL Cup x4, Community Shield x2, Super Cup, Club World Cup

The Champions League was the one competition that evaded Guardiola at City.

He got close and even lost the final in the 2020/21 season, but that changed in 2023.

The Citizens finally became champions of Europe thanks to Rodri‘s goal in a 1-0 win over Inter Milan.

So, Guardiola’s move to City has been one of the best of his career, and there are surely more trophies in store.
