Kick-off at the Aviva Stadium in Ireland is scheduled for 8pm.

Europa League final: Team news

Atalanta will be without Marten de Roon, who revealed in an emotional thread on X that he couldn’t play.

Emil Holm was also absent from Atalanta’s last game and is doubtful.

Ademola Lookman and Ederson were among those who started on the bench, while Sead Kolasinac was sidelined with a knock.

As for Leverkusen, they have no new injuries to contend with.

They rested Florian Wirtz, Granit Xhaka and Piero Hincapie last time out, and they appeared as substitutes.

Leverkusen boss Alonso knows this coming week for his side is crucial.

Speaking ahead of the Europa League final, he said: “We have built great chemis­try, the confidence is good and the mentality has been fantastic. Now it’s the moment in this last week to give our best.

“I have a good feeling and I have confidence in our mentality. Football is so dynamic – the system is just a picture and the game is a movie.”
