Jamie O’Hara believes Ange Postecoglou has been ‘found out’ as he slammed the Tottenham boss for his set-piece management.

Coming off the back of a 3-2 defeat to neighbours Arsenal in their own back yard, Tottenham lost 2-0 to London rivals Chelsea on Thursday night.

It has been a week to forget for Spurs fans and O’Hara was left fuming after his side’s performance.

The former Tottenham midfielder has previously expressed a great deal of support for Postecoglou, but turned on the ex-Celtic boss with a furious a rant on Thursday night.

“That was bad… Do you know what? We’ve been found out,” O’Hara said. “The teams have found us out.

“The problem Ange has got, right, he ain’t at Celtic anymore.

“He’s in the Premier League. The Premier League exposes your weaknesses [as a manager]. They figure you out, managers, coaches, players, you get found out in the Premier League!

“This is what’s happened. Spurs have been found out and so has Ange.”

One key area O’Hara and many other Spurs fans have taken issue with over this week and throughout the season has been their side’s handling of set pieces.

Two of Arsenal’s goals on Sunday came from corners, while Chelsea’s double was the result of two free-kicks.

O’Hara was left seething with Postecoglou’s comments

Prior to the clash at Stamford Bridge, Postecoglou insisted he ‘wasn’t interested’ in the discourse around his set piece management, adding: “Eventually I will create a team that has success and it won’t be because of working on set-pieces.”

But after Thursday’s performance, O’Hara thinks Postecoglou has no choice but to change his mentality.

He said: “Sorry, you can’t come out and do an interview the day before and say ‘I don’t care about set pieces, I’m not going to address it, I’m not going to deal with it’ and then concede a set piece!”

Cundy, who had already unleashed a special edition of ‘has anyone seen’ on his co-host, could be heard chuckling away in the background.

O’Hara added: “What is going on? What is it? It ain’t Celtic mate. Don’t come out and give me ‘it’s who we are mate, it’s who we are’.

“I’m getting tired of it! I’m getting tired of it quickly. Sort the set pieces out!”

Tottenham have now conceded 22 set piece goals including penalties in the Premier League this term, on level with relegation candidates Burnley.

That number is only beaten by Sheffield United (23) and Nottingham Forest (26).

Without penalties, Spurs have conceded 16 goals from set pieces.

Only Luton (17), Sheffield United (18) and Nottingham Forest (23) have worse records.

Tottenham’s Champions League hopes have been left in tatters after their last two games

Postecoglou and co will be hoping to turn their fortunes around on Sunday when they travel to Anfield to face Liverpool, who are looking for their first win in three games.
