Bruno Fernandes has admitted his ‘biggest regret’ at Manchester United so far is not having the chance to have a meeting with Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Portugal playmaker has been a revelation at Old Trafford having arrived in January 2020, notching 40 goals and 25 assists in 78 appearances.

Fernandes wants advice from Sir Alex Ferguson about how to improve his game

The 27-year-old has steered the Red Devils to second in the Premier League and to the verge of silverware, with the Europa League final clash against Villarreal next week.

Despite his brilliant form for United, Fernandes is keen to improve his personal game and says he would love to have a discussion with legendary boss Ferguson over what he can do to get better.

Speaking to InsideUnited when asked about meeting Ferguson, Fernandes said: “So, that is one of my biggest regrets in the club until now.

“I met him already but never had the chance to speak with him like I would like to do.

“I think everyone who watched Manchester United in the past remembers Sir Alex. [That is true] for me, growing up and seeing the club, being a fan of the club and seeing the development of the team.

“I would like to have a conversation with him and understand, from his point of view, what he thinks about me and what I can improve or still improve in my game to be better.”
