Paul Pogba’s time at Manchester United is up after the club confirmed the Frenchman would leave Old Trafford when his contract expires at the end of June.

Pogba returned to the Red Devils in the summer of 2016 for £93million, and he made over 200 appearances, while he won two trophies during his second spell with the club.

There were times when he looked unplayable, but a combination of factors both off and on the pitch led to the 29-year-old failing to consistently show what he was capable of.

Given the talent he possesses, the Frenchman could and should have been one of the best players in the Premier League.

Unfortunately, it didn’t work out at Old Trafford, but he possibly could remain in the Premier League.

But what other clubs are interested? Here talkSPORT.com takes a look at the latest odds from BetFair

Juventus (2/9)

15. Paul Pogba (Juventus) - 1.1%
Pogba made his name with Juventus

The Frenchman enjoyed a sensational spell with the Old Lady from 2012 until 2016.

While he was with the Serie A giants, Pogba won eight trophies, including four league titles.

He also helped Juve reach the Champions League final during the 2014/15 campaign, and he became a huge fan favourite.

In his time in Italy, Pogba made 178 appearances in which he scored 34 goals and provided 40 assists, so a return makes a lot of sense.

The reason he appears to be odds-on to go back to Juventus is because Gazzetta dello Sport claim the deal is all but agreed.

So Pogba moving back to Juventus seems like the most likely outcome this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain (2/1)

PSG have been interested in Pogba for a long time, and this summer could be the chance they have been waiting for.

The French giants have almost limitless pockets and could probably offer Pogba the best wage packet.

However, Ligue 1 is nowhere near as challenging as La Liga, the Premier League or Serie A, and he would be expected to help PSG finally win the Champions League.

Of course, PSG have an array of world-class talent at their disposal, but surely Pogba can find a better challenge?

However, Sky Sports are reporting that the Paris-based side have opened talks with Pogba’s representatives, so a move can’t be ruled out.

Real Madrid (20/1)

A move to Spain could restart Pogba’s career

The 2021/22 Champions League winners have been linked with Pogba for years and years, so could we see them make a move?

Well, they are in direct contact with Pogba’s agents, so the La Liga giants may add Pogba to their midfield.

However, given just how good Toni Kroos and Luka Modric were this year, Pogba would struggle to break into the side!

But both are getting on and perhaps that Real midfield needs to be freshened up, and given they are after Pogba’s international teammate Aurelien Tchouameni; those two could be a dream together.

However, 20/1 odds suggests a move to Spain isn’t the most likely destination for Pogba this summer.

Manchester City (25/1)

'I couldn't let this happen' - Manchester United star Paul Pogba wanted to stop Manchester City win the Premier League for the fans
One of Pogba’s best performances for the Red Devils came against City

Could we see this happen?

Pogba could become the force of nature we all know he can be under Pep Guardiola’s guidance. But surely he wouldn’t destroy his relationship with the Red Devils’ fans by joining the blue half of Manchester?

City were linked with a move for the Frenchman last month, and they do want another midfielder.

They would be able to offer him a huge wage and guaranteed success on the pitch, so it makes sense in many ways.

But we just can’t see Pogba deciding that a move to the Etihad would be a good idea given his relationship with Manchester United.

Liverpool (66/1)

Jurgen Klopp could transform Pogba

Pogba’s former agent, the late Mino Raiola, offered the Reds the chance to sign the Frenchman last summer.

However, if he thought a move to Manchester City would cause a backlash, imagine what would have happen if he moved to Anfield!

The Red Devils’ greatest rivals will always be Liverpool, and Pogba knows that, so the backlash would be extreme if he ever even thought of moving to join Jurgen Klopp’s side.

However, in football terms, it is actually a move that makes a lot of sense.

Again, like Guardiola, Klopp could be the man to unlock Pogba’s undoubted potential, while he would also guarantee himself the chance to win major honours.

But there is a reason this deal is seen as so unlikely because the consequences of such a move would be unbelievable.
