Raphinha continues to be Leeds’ best player this season and at the centre of everything at the moment for the club.

The winger scored his fourth Premier League goal of the season as Marcelo Bielsa’s side beat Norwich 2-1 at Carrow Road.

It was an important three points against the Canaries, who have still managed just two points all campaign.

The Brazilian has consistently been the bright spark for Leeds, but his manager won’t thank him for an incident that happened in the second half.

Raphinha was chasing down a loose ball near the dugout, but could not slow himself down before crashing into Bielsa.

The manager took a tumble and had to be helped up by his player.

Hopefully the Argentine will not mind too much as his side picked up just their second win of the season.

After a lack of clear-cut chances in the first half, the game at Carrow Road exploded into life just before the hour.

First Leeds broke the deadlock through Raphinha. Dan James passed out to the Brazilian on the right and he cut inside Andrew Omobamidele and Grant Hanley before rifling into the bottom corner.

Norwich were not behind for long though with Omobamidele heading home the equaliser two minutes later from Milot Rashica’s corner.

In keeping with the chaotic start to the second period, Leeds retook the lead on the hour to bring a crazy four-minute spell to an end.

Kalvin Phillips passed into Rodrigo, who was given too much space and let fly from 25-yards and his low left-foot effort slipped through Tim Krul’s grasp to make it 2-1 to the visitors.

It finished with a win for Leeds as Norwich continue to struggle at the foot of the table.
