West Ham have recovered from their run of six defeats in seven league games just shy of a month ago, in which David Moyes was under severe pressure as his role of manager in which several fans wanted him gone.

However, the Irons have lost just one of their last six matches in all competitions, and with a record of four wins in their last five matches against Chelsea, will be confident of climbing up the table following Saturday’s match.

Potter’s men head into Saturday’s derby with just one win in his last seven matches in all competitions, and will hope a win this weekend will spark some confidence and a good run of form ahead of their Champions League match at Borussia Dortmund next week.

Potter will be able to take confidence in the fact that his teams are unbeaten against those managed by Moyes in the six matches they’ve played, though four of those games have ended in draws.
