West Ham are interested in signing Mohammed Kudus from Ajax, talkSPORT understands.

David Moyes’ side are keen to spend the £105million they acquired from Declan Rice’s move to Arsenal this summer.

So far, Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse have completed moves to the east London side.

Alvarez has joined from Ajax and West Ham could look to the Dutch giants once again for the new season.

The Hammers are keen on signing Kudus, an attacking midfielder who has also been linked with Brighton.

talkSPORT reported earlier in the month that the Seagulls had reached a £34.5million agreement to sign the 23-year-old.

However, Brighton pulled out of the race for Kudus last week with West Ham now setting their sights on a move.

He could come in as a replacement for Man City target Lucas Paqueta, who are stepping up their interest following an injury to Kevin De Bruyne.

The Ghanaian international enjoyed a stellar season at Ajax last term as he scored 18 goals and provided seven assists in all competitions.

He has previously attracted interest from Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United, but West Ham could be his next destination.

After drawing their opening Premier League match of the season 1-1 with Bournemouth, they will be keen to strengthen further.

Signing Kudus would do just that, as would Harry Maguire after a £30million deal was agreed with United.

Whilst big signings are beginning to filter in, West Ham could be set to lose another prized asset after Rice.

Lucas Paqueta has emerged as a target for Manchester City and the Brazilian is keen to join Pep Guardiola’s treble winners.

Moyes revealed last week that they have received a bid from City, with West Ham reportedly asking for £95million.
