Arsenal and Everton meet again in the Premier League this week in a match that will have huge ramifications at both ends of the table.

The Gunners have the chance to move five points clear of Manchester City with a win but another positive result for the Toffees would pull them out of the relegation zone.

Arsenal vs Everton – follow minute-by-minute updates here

Sean Dyche masterminded victory for Everton over Arsenal during his first game in charge when the two sides met in early February.

The reverse fixture at the Emirates is now taking place this week, having originally been scheduled in September 2022.

But the match was postponed following Queen Elizabeth II’s death and a packed domestic and European schedule has made it difficult to find a date for the rescheduled fixture to be fitted in.

Why is Arsenal vs Everton not on TV?

The game will not be shown on TV this week due to the original fixture taking place in the 3pm blackout slot for English football.

And rules dictate that if a game not picked for television coverage is postponed, then the rearranged match is still not able to be shown on TV – even if it has been rescheduled to a more agreeable time.

While the match may not be available to watch, talkSPORT will have you covered with EXCLUSIVE live radio commentary.

Adrian Durham will present the coverage while commentary will come from Jim Proudfoot and former West Ham striker Dean Ashton.

Dyche got the better of Arteta once again in the reverse meeting

A James Tarkowski header proved the difference between Arsenal and Everton at Goodison Park at the start of February.

The defeat ended the north Londoner’s unbeaten top-flight run that stretched back to September and started a run of just one point out of a possible nine.

But Mikel Arteta’s men have bounced back with back-to-back wins over Aston Villa and Leicester to consolidate their lead at the top.

As for Everton, victory over Arsenal failed to act as a springboard to consistent form with defeat to rivals Liverpool and a 2-0 loss at home to Villa not allaying their relegation fears.
