Chiwetel Ejiofor, Lupita Nyong’o win ‘Best Actor’ honours at BET Awards 2014...

‘Twelve Years of a Slave‘ stars Chiwetel Ejiofor and Lupita Nyong’o won the ‘Best Actor‘ and ‘Best Actress‘ awards respectively at the 2014 BET Awards which held on Sunday, June 29, 2014. Kenyan star Nyong’o ousted the likes of Angela Bassett, Gabrielle Union, Kerry Washington and Oprah Winfrey to pick up her first BET award while British born Nigerian Ejiofor beat off stiff competition from Forest Whitaker, Idris Elba and Kevin Hart.

‘Twelve Years of a Slave‘ also won the ‘Best Movie‘ award. Both actors were however absent at the awards show....
