Harry Kane would surely adore working with Mauricio Pochettino again as Bayern Munich are linked with the former Chelsea boss.

After Pochettino and Chelsea parted ways on Monday in a shock announcement, the Argentine is already linked with several jobs across Europe.

Manchester United is a potential destination while Bayern Munich could also turn to the former Tottenham coach, having experienced an ordeal looking to replace Thomas Tuchel.

talkSPORT understands that Kane and Eric Dier, who worked with Pochettino at Spurs, would love to reunite with their old boss.

Kane, in particular, owes much of his career to the 52-year-old, who made him a key player in north London and he has already spoken highly of him.

After a 1-1 draw against Barcelona in the Champions League in 2018, Kane said: “I can’t speak highly enough of [Pochettino]. He’s a fantastic manager, a fantastic man.

“With him, it’s always about hard work and belief. That’s what he said to us before the game and at half-time: just believe, bring energy, work. And we’ll get the reward.

“You respond to that. On nights like that, big occasions, you just want to do him justice. We’re buzzing, he was very happy in the changing room.”

When Spurs reached the Champions League final that season, the England international said: “Since he took over he’s had a plan to become one of the best teams in Europe and now we’re not far away from the biggest game in Europe and in our club’s history.

“He’s done a fantastic job, he’s a great manager. All the players want to fight and play and do everything for him.

“That’s the standards he’s set, you see the way the club is now, the training ground, the stadium, playing in Champions League finals, that was the plan and now it’s to win it, and step on and to go on to win more and more.”

Months later, Pochettino would get the sack at Tottenham and none were more devastated than Kane, who said on social media: “Gaffer. I’ll be forever thankful to you for helping me achieve my dreams.

“We’ve had some amazing moments in the last 5 and a half years that I will never forget.

“You were my manager but my friend as well and I thank you for that relationship. Good luck with your next chapter!”

Bayern Munich’s search for a new manager this summer has been one fraught with trouble having been turned down by their top candidates.

The German giants have failed to land any of Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann and Oliver Glasner while talks to reverse their decision over Tuchel also capitulated.

talkSPORT also understands that Bayern might approach Pochettino in the coming days as they look to find a new manager sooner rather than later.
