Eagle-eyed supporters are convinced that Scott McTominay told Liverpool’s fans where to go, but in not as nice a way.

The exchange came during Manchester United and Liverpool‘s dramatic FA Cup fifth round clash on Sunday afternoon when Amad Diallo’s dramatic last-gasp winner saw the Red Devils into the semi-finals.

Old Trafford erupted after Diallo’s winner with the winger even being sent off for removing his shirt in celebration, but he wasn’t the only one to go over the top in his euphoria.

With referee John Brooks blowing his whistle moments after the winner, McTominay went to celebrate with goalkeeper Andre Onana as he jumped and gave him a hug.

Fans then believe that the midfielder pointed towards the traveling Liverpool fans with an x-rated message.

One supporter said: “Scott McTominay saying f*** you to the Liverpool fans and Andre Onana giving it back after he (no doubt) copped it all second half and in extra time.

“Love that, these videos are so good.”

A second fan wrote: “McTominay with a cheeky “f*** you” to Liverpool fans. You love to see it.

Meanwhile a third said: “He’s a true Mancunian.”

A fourth fan wrote: “McTominay not holding back on the scousers after the game winning goal.”

McTominay is Man United’s top goalscorer this term with nine goals to his name and after progressing through the club’s youth academy, it’s clear to see exactly what their fierce rivals mean to him.
