Manchester City sit a point behind the Gunners but have a game in hand – against Tottenham on Tuesday night.

It means that the red half of north London will be relying on their rivals to help them out by getting a result against the Premier League champions.

For Arsenal players and fans, they might have to commit the biggest sin you can as a Gooner – cheering on Spurs.

That includes Havertz, who revealed that he and his teammates will all be wearing white on Tuesday – going against every moral fibre in their Arsenal bodies.

The Germany international, whose past includes a stint with Tottenham’s other rivals Chelsea where he won the Champions League, told Sky Sports after Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Manchester United on Sunday: “I’m going to be the biggest fan of Tottenham ever on Tuesday.

“We all are going to be! So lets hope for the best.”

If City do not win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it will ensure that Arsenal go into the final day top of the table.

A draw will see the Gunners remain on top courtesy of their three-goal superiority.

A win for Tottenham, though, would see Arsenal go into the final day knowing a win would guarantee them the title.

Arsenal face Everton at the Emirates on Sunday whereas City take on West Ham at the Etihad with both sides expected to claim victory.

Mikel Arteta‘s men took a huge step towards a first title in 20 years at the weekend when they beat United at Old Trafford.

Leandro Trossard’s 12th goal in the Premier League ensured all three points with Havertz grabbing the assist during a moment where Casemiro was criticised for his defending.

Arteta said after the win: “We wanted to open that door to say, last game in front of our people, our families will be there.

“And let’s leave one of the most beautiful days that we have lived together and see what happens.”
